Integral Memory Limited Warranty

Warranty Eligibility

This warranty applies exclusively to new Integral Memory products purchased by the original buyer from authorised resellers or distributors. It does not cover second-hand items, unauthorised resales or products used for commercial purposes such as rental services. This limited warranty is non-transferable and valid only within the country or territory of purchase. 

Warranty Period

Integral Memory Plc guarantees its products against material and workmanship defects for the following durations:

Memory Cards (Specialist) Limited Lifetime Warranty or TBW** whichever comes first
Solid State Drives – NVMe (SSDs) 5 Years or TBW** whichever comes first
Solid State Drives – SATA (SSDs) 3 Years or TBW** whichever comes first
Portable Solid State Drives (PSSDs) 4 Years or TBW** whichever comes first
USB Flash Drives 2 Years
DRAM (Memory Modules) Limited Lifetime Warranty* I ***
Card Readers 5 Years***
Encrypted Products 2 Years
Warranty terms may vary if specified differently in the product specification sheet or other official documentation.  * 30 years for Germany and regions that do not recognize lifetime warranty.  ** If a TBW (Terabytes Written) limit is provided, the warranty ends when either the TBW limit or time period is reached, whichever comes first. If no TBW limit is specified, warranty claims will be evaluated based on normal wear and tear, as determined by Integral. *** Warranty coverage is limited to normal wear and tear, as determined by Integral.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover the following:
  • Physical damage, improper handling or normal wear and tear
  • Neglect, misuse, or failure to follow product instructions
  • Damage caused by acts of nature (e.g. floods, lightning, earthquakes)
  • Improper installation or use beyond the product’s intended specifications
  • Products used for commercial purposes, including rental services
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product
  • Future software or hardware compatibility
  • Products with removed or altered identification labels
  • Unauthorised modifications, disassembly, repairs or servicing by unauthorised providers
  • Use in abnormal conditions or high-risk applications (e.g. medical, military) where failure could threaten injury or life
  • The absolute security of products with encryption features—no security system is entirely foolproof
  • Damage caused by power surges, software issues (including viruses, malware, trojans or worms) or environmental factors
  • Loss of data – users are strongly advised to regularly back up their data, as Integral is not responsible for any data loss
  • Standard cards used in demanding or continuous-use conditions – only high-endurance cards are suitable for such applications

How to Request Warranty Service

  • First, contact your retailer where the product was purchased and if additional assistance is needed, visit Integral Support
  • A valid proof of purchase is required
  • Provide product identification details, including the part number and a clear description of the issue
  • Obtain a Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) number before sending the product back
  • Customers must cover shipping costs and ensure safe packaging. Using a trackable shipping method is recommended, as Integral is not responsible for lost or damaged returns

Warranty Resolution

If a defect is confirmed, Integral may, at its discretion:
  • Repair or replace the product with an equivalent or superior model
  • Replace the product with a comparable product if the original model is no longer available due to End of Life (EOL) status
  • Issue a refund based on the purchase price or current market value, whichever is lower
  • Repaired or replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 60 days, whichever is longer
  • Users must back up their data before sending in a product, as Integral is not responsible for any data loss

Limitations of Warranty

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the limited warranty expressed in this agreement replaces all other warranties. Integral Memory Plc (or any third-party suppliers) makes no other warranty or condition, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

  To the fullest extent permitted by law, Integral Memory Plc (or any third-party suppliers) will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to data, loss of profits, revenue, or savings, loss of contracts, increased costs, costs of obtaining substitute products or services, or any other special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the sale, use, or misuse of any product or service provided by Integral Memory Plc. Even if Integral Memory Plc has been advised of the possibility of such damages or losses, its liability will be limited to the purchase price of the product.

Consumer Rights & Legal Notes

This limited warranty does not affect your statutory rights under applicable laws. As consumer rights vary by jurisdiction, some of the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
