Justin Minns

Professional landscape photographer Justin Minns has always loved being in nature, following this connection and his trained artistic eye to become a multi award winning photographer.

Whilst Justin has travelled the world for his photography, he finds he is always drawn by the scenery near his home in Suffolk and the surrounding regions. Probably best known for his atmospheric shots of East Anglia, he says that being outdoors, in the moment, is why he favoured landscape photography.

“The thrill of watching the first light of the day creep over the frozen stillness of a wintry landscape, while the air and my fingers tingle with the cold, and the challenge of capturing the atmosphere of moments like this is what it is all about.”

Justin’s captivating shots have earned him quite a reputation enticing notable companies like the National Trust, English Heritage, BBC, Ordnance Survey and more to utilise his skills. His work has been used in print, for film and TV and even as a full wall print in the Docky Hut café at National Trust property Wicken Fen, Cambridgeshire.

Also an experienced photography tutor, Justin holds his own one-to-one and group workshops, both at home and further afield (most often Iceland, Namibia and Madeira) and regularly teams up with the National Trust and the Royal Photographic Society to run sessions on their behalf.

Justin’s Accolades Include:

  • Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (2023)

  • Category Winner, RHS Photography competition (2017)

  • Multiple awards in the Landscape Photographer of the Year and International Garden Photographer of the Year competitions

  • Category Winner, Suffolk Wildlife Trust Photography competition (2018)

  • Overall Winner, Your Vision competition (2018)
