The Windows Vista operating system included a new feature called ReadyBoost™.
This is a feature that allows a USB Flash Drive to be used for extra virtual memory cache (like RAM) as well as for storage. For example, a 4GB Integral EnvoyPlus ReadyBoost Flash Drive could have 2GB allocated for ReadyBoost cache and 2GB for storing files, or 3GB for files and 1GB for ReadyBoost or similar configurations.
For a USB Flash Drive to be ReadyBoost compliant, it needs to conform to the very highest standards. Integral EnvoyPlus and Silver are now available with advanced controllers that have been fully Microsoft certified for Windows ReadyBoost.

Integral EnvoyPlus ReadyBoost models are available from 1GB to 8GB and Integral Silver ReadyBoost Flash Drives from 1GB to 16GB.
