Windows ReadyBoost™ is a new concept in adding extra memory to a computer. You can use flash memory, such as that on selected Integral USB Flash Drives, to improve Windows Vista and Windows 7 performance without having to add additional memory chips (DRAM) directly onto the motherboard.
Insert your ReadyBoost compatible Flash Drive into any USB socket and follow a few simple instructions to configure the Flash Drive:

Click here for instructions when using Windows 7.
Windows ReadyBoost can improve system performance because it can retrieve data stored on a USB Flash Drive faster than it can retrieve data stored on the hard disk, decreasing the time you need to wait for your PC to respond – so in effect; the USB Flash Drive becomes additional “virtual” RAM. The device can be removed at any time without losing data and as an extra benefit the data is encrypted, therefore it cannot be accessed on other PC’s.

For a USB Flash Drive to be ReadyBoost compliant, it needs to conform to the very highest standards. Integral Splash Drive, Ag47, Mini USB, Flexi Drive, 360, Courier and Titan are now available with advanced controllers that have been fully Microsoft certified for Windows ReadyBoost.
All Integral USB Flash Drives that are ReadyBoost compliant are packaged with a clearly marked ReadyBoost logo as illustrated below:
